Amazing sushi and the best hospitality in London✨💞 Every dish was absolutely delicious, and the sushi was incredibly fresh. I also had the katsu-don for lunch—it was the best I’ve had in London! I’m Japanese, and I can confidently say the taste is truly authentic. Highly recommend this place!

The menu consists of a wide variety of different Japanese dishes which accommodates for all kinds of meal preferences.
All the dishes we ordered were very fresh and were prepared with great detail. All dishes worked to create an authentic experience. In particular, the pork cutlet in the curry don was cooked to perfection with a crispy breaded surface and a tender centre. The sashimi had a umami flavour which is always a pleasant surprise in good quality sashimi.
The establishment has a comfortable atmosphere and the high quality service provided by the staff of Umi ensured that we had a great time.
I would highly recommend Umi as a go-to for authentic Japanese food.- Meal type

The most delicious food (sushi, rolls and bento box), as well as the best customer service in town. I have been coming for dinner over the years and will continue to support Bobby and the team. It was a takeaway for us this time, but the food was just as tasty and ready right on time.

Dinner at Umi last week, very good food & ambience. The assorted Sashimi is fresh & savor melt in your mouth. Tempura is wonderful. With warm and attentive service, recommend this restaurant and remember to book the table in advance.

We particularly enjoyed the Aburi Beef among the items we tried — it was definitely our favorite. The Lychee Sake had a pleasant aroma, but it was far too sweet for my taste, so I couldn’t drink it. We were kindly offered Miso Soup, which was quite delicious. Overall, we left satisfied and look forward to returning to try their sushi next time.

All dishes we tried tonight were fabulous!!! Highly recommend the Spare Ribs - a 6-star cuisine !!! A plus is the very clean toilet. Worth visiting Umi whenever u go to Twickenham

The food was very well-prepared. We had recently been to Japan, and it tasted practically the same as the food we had there. The staff were very polite and friendly. The food was served rather promptly, and it had a very relaxed and quiet feeling. One of our group was vegetarian, and their needs were well met. Would 100% recommend.

The sushi is incredibly fresh, and the variety is impressive and tempura is the best tempura I’ve ever had. The staff was attentive and kept us updated. I’ll definitely be back to try their other food options!

We booked the wrong Umi and ended up at this Umi, not The Umi… 🙄 All I can say is this was probably the best mistake I’ve ever made, what an absolute gem of a restaurant. 10/10 for food, service, atmosphere and great value. Edit to say - Bobby, fantastic service, thank you 🤩 We will 100% return to Umi, not The Umi 😉

Truly excellent sashimi and sushi, extremely tasty and well presented. A real find that we will definitely be returning to again. Staff were all very pleasant as well. Can’t recommend highly enough.

The assorted sashimi is wonderful - very fresh and delicious! The dragon roll is beautifully presented, with prawn and avocado. Tempura is also great, the batter was just right, crispy and not too thick. The servings are of generous portions.
Service was friendly and the food came quickly. The manager even kindly explained to us what all the different kinds of sashimi were!
I love Japanese food and I feel like Umi is one of the best Japanese restaurants in London I've ever had. Will definitely be returning if I'm in the area again!- Service

Since the first time we are been amazed from the freshness of the food, especially the sushi, and the unique flavour of the dishes. Personally i love the special flavour of Tuna Tataki, marinated Tofu, Nasu Dengaku Eggplants, fried Rice with Pork, and Kurogoma ice cream( Black Sesame ice-cream) absolutely amazing taste! The Plums wine is the best, and every time we come back for a dinner, we never stop at 2 chalices only…
